My notes after reading translation of the Quran. I am still in progress of reading the translation.

C33 V72	free will offered to other creations	Surely We offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to be ufaithful to it and feared from it. and man has turned unfaitful to it.
C33 V70-71	speak truthfully and clearly	O you who believe, keep your duty to Allah and speak staight words: He will put your deeds into a right state for you, and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His messenger, he indeed achieves a mighty success.
C33 V69	Musa (AS) is also worthy of high regards	O you who believe, do not be like those who maligned Moses, but Allah cleared him of what they said. And he was worthy of regards with Allah.
C33 V67-68	followers of leaders who misguide	And they say: Our Lord, we only obeyed our leaders and our great men, so they led us astray from the path. Our Lord, give them a double punishment and curse them with a great curse.
C33 V60-62	why the evil people of Medina were killed	see verses
C33 V59	why wear a burka / over garment	O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of elievers to let down upon them their over-garments. This is more proper, so that they may be known, and not be given trouble. And Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
C33 V58	sin to backbite / slander believers	And those who malign believing men and believing women undeservedly, they bear the guilt of lsander and manifest sin.
C33 V57	those who talk / slander about Muhammad (SAW) and Allah (SWT)	Surely those who malign Allah and His Messenger, Allah has cursed them in this world and the Hereafter, and He has prepared for them a humiliating punishment.
C33 V56	saluting the prophet (SAW) after saying / hearing his name	Surely Allah and His angels bless the Prophet. O you who believe, call for blessings on him and salute him with a (becoming) salutation.
C33 V55	there is no blame on an individual for something their family / relative does	There is no blame on them in respect of their fathers, nor their sons, nor their brothers, nor their brothers’ sons, nor their sisters’ son, nor their own women, nor of what their right hands possess – and (O you women) keep your duty to Allah. Surely Allah is ever Witness over all things.
C33 V54	Allah (SWT) knows everythign you do	If you do a thing openly or do it in secret, then surely Allah is ever KNower of all things.
C33 V53	lesson about what to do when invited for food	see long verse: …And it is not fitting for you to give trouble to the Messenger of Allah, nor to marry his wives after him ever.
C33 V52	the prophet (SAW) was not allowed to take anymore wives or divorce after this verse	It is not allowed to you to take wives after this, nor to change them for others, though their beauty be pleasing to you, except those whom your right hand (already) possesses. And Allah is ever Watchful over all things.
C33 V50-51	why prophet (SAW) had many wives	see verses
C33 V49	one can get a simple divorce after marriage if they did not touch their wife	O who who believe, when you marry believing women, then divorce them before you touch them, you have in their case no term which you should reckon. But make provision for them and let them go in gracious manner.
C33 V48	disregard annoying talk with disbelievers and hypocrites	And do not obey the disbelievers and the ypocrites, and disregard their annoying talk, and rely on Allah. And Allah is sufficient as having charge of affairs.
C33 V45-47	why the prophet (SAW) was sent	O Prophet, surely We have sent you as a witness, and a bearer of good news and a warner, and as an inviter to Allah by His permission, and as a light-giving sun. And give the believers the good news that they will have great grace from Allah.
C33 V41-44	reward for those who remember Allah (SWT) a lot	O you who believe, remember Allah with much rememberance, and glorify Him morning and evening. He it is who sends blessings on you, and (so do) His angels, that He may bring you forth out of darkness into light. And He is ever Merciful to the believers. Their greeting on the day they meet Him will be, Peace! and He has prepared for them an honorable reward.
C33 V40	Muhammad (SAW) is the seal of prophets	Muhammad (SAW) is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the prophets. And Allah is ever Knower of all things.
C33 V36-37	about the prophet’s marriage to Zainab	see verses
C33 V35	women and men are equal in spirituality	see long verse
C33 V31-34	About the wives of the prophet (SAW)	see verses
C33 V30	The prophet’s (SAW) had to be great Muslims because they will be mothers of all Muslims	O wives of the Prophet, whoever of you is guilty of manifestly improper conduct, the punishment will be doubled for her. And this is easy for Allah.
C33 V28-29	O prophet, say to your wives: If you desire this world’s life and its adornment, come I will give you a provision and allow you to depart in a gracious manner. And if you desire Allah and His Messenger and the abode of the Hereafter, then surely Allah has prepared for the doers of good among you a mighty reward.
C33 V21	Muhammad (SAW) is the best role model and Sunnah why his Sunnah is so important	Certanily you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent exemplar for him who hopes in Allah and the Last Dat, and remembers ALlah much.
C33 V20-27	Battle of Ahzab (Trenches) – end
C33 V9-20	Battle of Ahzab (Trenches) description	see verses – …Say: Who is it that can protect you form Allah, if He intends harm for you or He intends to show you mercy?…
C33 V7	covenant with the 5 greatest prophets and messengers	And when We took a covenant form the prophets and from you, and from Noah and Abraham, and Moses, and Jeses, son of Mary, and We took from them a solemn covenant, that He may question the truthful of their truth, and He has prepared for the disbelievers a painful punishment.
C33 V6	closeness of prophet (SAW) and his wives are our mothers	The Prophet is closer to the faithful then their own selves, and his wives are their mothers. And the possessors of relationship are closer t one another in the ordinance of Allah then (other) believers, and those who fled (their homes), except that you do some good to your friends. This is written in the Book.
C33 V5	sinning by mistake verses with intention	…And there is no blame on you in that about which you make a mistake, but (you are answerable for) what your hearts intend. And Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
C33 V3	trust in Allah (SWT), He is all you need	and trust in Allah, And Allah is enough as having charge (of affairs)
C32 V27	water was/is provided to the Children of Israel	Do they not see that We drive the water to a land having no vegetation, then We bring forth with it seed-produce, of which their cattle and they themselves eat. Will they not then see?
C32 V25-26	about the Children of Israel who know the truth yet did/do not accept it	Surely your Lord will judge between them on the day of Resurrection in that which they differed. Is it not clear to them, how many of the generations, in whose abodes they go about, We destroyed before them? Surely there are signs in this. Will they not then hear?
C32 V23-24	Musa (AS) was given a Book – Allah (SWT) can make leaders	And We indeed gave Moses the Book – so do not doubt the meeting with Him – and We made it a guide for the Children of Israel. And We made from among them leaders to guide by Our command when they were aptient. And they were certain of Our messages.
C32 V21-22	transgressor will take punishment in this world	And certainly We will make them taste the nearer punishment before the greater punishment, that perhaps they may turn. And who is more unjust then he who is reminded of the messages of his Lord, then he turns awy from the,? Surely We exact retribution from the guilty.
C32 V20	punishment of the transgressor	And as for those who transgress, their refuge is the Fire. Whenever they desire to go forth from it, they are brought back into it, and it is said to them: Taste the punishment of the Fire, which you called a lie.
C32 V18-19	a believer is not equal to a transgressor	Is he then, who is a believer, like him who is a transgressor? They are not equal. As for those who believe and do good eeds, for them are Gardens, a refuge – an entertainment for what they did.
C32 V17	no one knows what reward is waiting for them in paradise	So no souls knows what joy of the eyes is hidden for them: a reward for what they did.
C32 V16	what above average Muslims do	They forsake (their) beds, calling upon their Lord in fear and in hope, and spend (on good works) out of what We have given them.
C32 V15	SAJDAH – why one has to perform sajdah	Only they believe in Our messages who, when they are reminded of them, fall down prostrate and celebrate the praise of their Lord, and they are not proud.
C32 V13-14	every soul could have been given guidance	And if We had pelased, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me was just; I will certainly fill hell with jinn and people, all together. So taste, because you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours; surely We forsake you; and taste the abiding punishment for what you did.
C32 V12	the guilty/disbelievers will want to return to earth	And if only you could see when the guilty hang their heads before their Lord: Our Lord, we have seen and heard, so send us back, we will do good; we are (now) certain.
C32 V11	the angel of death causes people to die	Say: The angel of death, who is given charge of you, will cause you to die, then to you Lord you will be returned.
C32 V7-9	simple organs/functions to be thankful for (heart=intelect)	Then He made his progeny of an extract, of worthless seeming water. Then He made him complete and breathed into him of His spirit, and gave you ears and eyes and hearts; little thanks you give.
C32 V6-7	everything Allah created is beautiful	Such is the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty, the Merciful, Who made beautiful everything that He created, and He began the creation of man from dust.
C32 V5	a day that is like a 1000 years	He orders the Affair from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a day the measure of which is a thousand years as you count.
C32 V4	everything created in 6 periods	Allah is He Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six periods, and He is established on the Throne of Power. You have not besides Him a guardian or an intercessor. ill you not then be mindful?
C31 V34	what Allah (SWT) only knows	Surely Allah is He with Whom is the knowledge of the Hour, and He sends down the rain, and He knows what is in the wombs. And no one knows what he will earn tomorrow. And no one knows in what land he will die. Surely Allah is Knowing, Aware.
C31 V33	do not let the wolds’s life or shaytwan deceive you	O people, keep your duty to your Lord and dread the day when no father can vail his son in the least, nor will the child avail his father. Surely the promise of Allah is true, so do not let this world’s life deceive you, nor let the arch-deceiver deceive you about Allah.
C31 V29	sun and moon have a course	Do you not see that Allah makes the night to pass into the day, and He makes the day to pass into the night, and He has made the sun and the moon subservient (to yoi) – each pursues its course till and appointed time – and that Allah is Aware of what you do?
C31 V22	firmest handle on life	And whoever submits himself to Allah and does good, he indeed takes hold of the firmest handle. And Allah’s is the end of (all) matters.
C31 V16-19	story of Luqman (RA) – advices: mustard seed	see verses
C31 V15	when not toobey parents but keep company with them	And if they strive to make you set up partners with Me, of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them, and keep kindly company with them in this world, and follow the way of him who turns to Me; then to Me is your return, then I shall inform you of what you did.
C31 V14	give thanks to Allah (SWT) and to your parents for your birth	And We have enjoined on man concerning his parents – his mother bears him with faintings upon faintings and his weaning takes two years – saying: Give thanks to Me and to your parents. To Me is the eventual coming.
C31 V12-13	story of Luqman (RA) – do not set up partners with Allah (SWT)	And certain We gave Luqman wisdom, saying: Give thanks to Allah. And whoeve ris thankful, is thankful for the good of his own soul; and whoever denis, then surely Allah is Self-Sufficient, Praised. And when Luqman said to his son, while he instructed him: My son, set up no partner with Allah. Surely setting up partners (with Him) is a grevious wrong.
C31 V10-11	what have those besides Allah (SWT) created?	He created the ehavens without pillars that you can see, and cast mountains on the earth in case it should quake with you, and He spread on it animals of every kind. And We send down water from the clouds, then cause to grow in it (vegetation) of every noble kind. This is Allah’s creation; now show Me what those besides Him have created. No, the unjest are in manifest error.
C31 V6	about those who profit by discussing Islam in a negative way	And among people is he who takes, instead, frivolous discourse to lead astray from Allah’s path without knowledge, and to make it a mockery. For such is a humiliating punishment.
C31 V2-5	who are the doers of good	These are the verses of the Book of Wisdom – a guidiance and a mercy for the doers of good, who keep up prayer and give the due charity and who are certain of the Hereafter. These are on a guidance from their Lord, and these are they who are successful.
C30 V58-59	those who cannt see the signs of the Quran, their hearts are sealed	And certainly We have set forth for people in this Quran every kind of description. And if you bring them a sign, those who disbelieve would certainly say: You are only deceivers. Thus does Allah seal the hearts of those who do not know.
C30 V55	time in this dunya is very short for the guilty	And the day when the Hour comes, the guilty will swear: They did not remian but an hour. This are they ever turned away (from truth).
C30 V54	mention being a baby/child, adult, elder	Allah is He Who created you from a state of weakness, then He gave strength after weakness, then ordained weakness and grey hair after strength. He creates what He pleases, and He is the Knowing, the Powerful.
C30 V52-53	those who dont believe in the message are deaf, blind (dead)	So surely you cannot make the dead to hear, nor can you make the deaf t hear the call, when they turn back retreating. Nor can you guide the blind out of their error. You can make none to hear but those who believe in Our messages, so they submit.
C30 V48-49	Signs of Allah (SWT) in wind, cloud, rain (interpret in two ways)	Allah is He Who sends forth the winds, so they raise a cloud, then He spreads it forth in the sky as He pleases, and He breaks it, so that you see the rain coming forth from inside it; then when He causes it to fall upon whom He pleases of His servants, lo! they rejoice – though they were before this, before it was sent down upon them, in sure despair.
C30 V47	It is incumbent on Allah (SWT) to help believers	And certainly We sent before you messengers to their people, so they came to them with clear arguments, then We punished those who were guilty. And to help believers is ever incumbent on Us.
C30 V46	Signs of Allah (SWT) in the wind (interpret in two ways) [applies to airplanes?]	And of His signs is this, that He sends forth the winds bearing good news, and that He may make you taste of His mercy, and that the ships may glide by His commad, and that you may seek of His grace, and that you may be grateful.
C30 V44-45	disbelievers will be responsible for their disbelief	Who ever disbelieves will be responsible for his desbelief; and whoever does good, such prepare (good) for their own souls, that He may reward out of His grace those who believe and do good. Surely He does not love the disbelievers.
C30 V43	find the right religion before your death/day of judgement	Then set yourself to the right religion before the day comes from Allah which cannot be averted: on that day they will be separated.
C30 V40	is there any other god that does any of this?	Allah is He Who created you, then He sustains you, then He causes you to die, then brings you to life. Is there any of your associate-gods who does any of it? Glory be to Him, and supremly exalted is He above what they setup as partners (with Him)!
C30 V39	charity inceases wealth not usuary/interest	And whatever you lay out at usuary, so that it may increase through the property of (other) people, it does not increase with Allah; and whatever you give in charity, desiring Allah’s pleasure, these will get manifold.
C30 V38	who to give charity to and its reward	So give to the near of kin his due, and to the needy and the traveller. This is best for those who desire Allah’s pleasure, and these it is who are successful.
C30 V36-37	when mercy comes and goes	And when We make people taste of mercy they rejoice in it, and if an evil befall them for wha ttheir hands have already done, lo! they despair. Do they not see that Allah amplifies provision for whom He pleases, and restricts (it also)? Certainly there are signs in this for a people who believe.
C30 V35	points out no prophets were sent that preached of any other god	Or, have We sent to them an authority so that it speaks of what they set up as partners with Him?
C30 V33-34	when affliction comes and goes	And when harm afflicts people, they call upon their Lord, turning to Him, then when He makes them taste of mercy from Him, lo! some of them begin to set up partners with their Lord, so as to be ungrateful for what We have given them. So enjoy yourselves a while- you will soon ceom to know.
C30 V30-32	Allah (SWT) created mankind to be religious and to follow His commands	So set yourself for religion, being upright, the nature made by Allah in which He has created mankind. There is no altering Allah’s creation. That is the right religion – but most people do not know – turning to Him; and keep your duty to Him, and keep up prayer and do not be of those who set up partners (with Allah), of those who split up their religion and become sects; each faction rejoicing in what it has.
C30 V29	unjust people are misguided and without knowledge	But those who are unjust follow their low desires without any knowledge; so who can guide him whom Allah leaves in error? And they shall have no helpers.
C30 V26-27	everything in the heavens and earth is Allah’s (SWT) and He is the most exalted	And His is whosoever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient to Him. And He it is Who originates the creation, then reproduces it, and it is very easy to Him. And His is the most exalted state in the heavens and the earth; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
C30 V25	Signs of Allah (SWT) in how the heaven and earth continue to function	And of His signs is this, that the heaven and earth subsist by His command. Then when He calls you, from the earth, you come forth.
C30 V24	Signs of Allah (SWT) in weather/nature	And of His signs is this, that He shows you the lightning for fear and for hope, and sends down water from the cloud, then gives life with it to the earth after its death. Surely there are signs in this for a people who understand.
C30 V23	Signs of Allah (SWT) in sleep and in the day	And of His signs is your sleep by night and by day and your seeking of His bounty. Surely there are signs in this for a people who would hear.
C30 V22	Signs of Allah (SWT) in the diversity of people	And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your tongues and colours. Surely there are signs in this for the learned.
C30 V20-21	Signs of Allah (SWT) in yourself and in your marriage	And of His signs is this, that He created you from dust, then lo! you are mortals who disperse. And of His signs is this, that He created mates for you from yourselves that you might find quiet of mind in them, and He put between you love and compassion. Surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.
C30 V19	Allah (SWT) is the master of life and death	He brigss forth the living from the dead and brings forth the dead from the living, and gives life to the earth after its death. And this will you be brought forth.
C30 V17-18	when to glorify/pray to Allah (SWT)	So glory be to Allah when you enter the evenign adn when you enter the morning. And to Him be praise in the ehavens and the earth. and in the afternoon, and when the sun declines.
C30 V15-16	two groups on the day when the Hour comes	Then as to those who believed and did good, they will be made happy in a garden. And as for those who disbelieved and rejected Our messages and the meeting of the Hereafter, they will be brought to punishment.
C30 V12-14	the day when the Hour comes	And the day when the Hour comes, the guilty will despair. And they will have no intercessors from among their associate-gods, and they will deny their associate-gods. And the day when the Hour comes, that day they will be separated, on from the other.
C30 V11	Allah (SWT) originates creation and then reproduces it	Allah originates the creation, then reproduces it, then to Him you will be returned
C30 V7-8	most people are heedless of the Hereafter	They know the outward of this world’s life, but of the Hereafter they are heedless. Do they not reflect within themselves? Allah did not create the ehavens and the earth and all that is between them but with truth, and (for) and appointed term. And surely most of the people are deniers of the meeting with their Lord.
C30 V4-6	Allah (SWT) keeps his promises	…Allah’s is the command before and after. And on that day the believers will rejoice in Allah’s help. He helps whom He pleases and He is the Mighty, the Merciful – (is is) Allah’s promise! Allah will not fail in His promise, but most people do not know.
C29 V69	one must strive hard for the favor of Allah (SWT) for guidance	And those who strive hard for Us, We shall certainly guide them in Our ways. And Allah is surely with the doers of good.
C29 V64	this world’s life is idle play (death)	And this world’s life is but an idle sport and play. And the home of the Hereafter, that surely is the Life, if only they knew!
C29 V62	why some people are rich and others poor	Allah amplifies provision for whom He pleases of His servants, and restricts (it) for him (also). Surely Allah is Knower of all things.
C29 V56-57	go where you can serve Allah (SWT) only	O My servants who believe, surely My eath is vast, so serve Me only. Every soul must taste of death; then to Us you will be returned.
C29 V53-55	punishment will come to disbeliervers at the fixed time	And they ask you to hasten on the punishment. And if a time had not been fixed, the punishment would certainly have come to them. And certainly it will come to them all of a suddent, while they do not perceive. They ask you to hasten on the punishment, and surely hell encompasses the disbelievers – The day when the punishment will cover them from above them, and from beneath there feet! He will say: Taste what you did.
C29 V50-51	there is mercy in the Quran and it is a reminder for believers	And they say: Why are not signs sent down upon him from his Lord? Say: Signs are with Allah only, and I am only a plain warner. Is it not enough for them that We have revealed to you the Book which is recited to them> Surely ther eis mercy in this and a reminder for a people who believe.
C29 V48-49	states Muhammad (SAW) could not read or write	And you did not recite before it any book, nor did you transcribe one with your right hand, for then could the liars have doubted. Rather, it is clear messages in the heart of those who are granted knowledge. And none deny Our messages except the wrong doers.
C29 V46	what to say to the People of the Book	And do not argue with the People of the Book except what is best, save such of them as act unjustly. But say: We believe in what has been revealed to us and revealed to you, and your God and your God is One, and to Him we submit.
C29 V45	important of pratyer and rememberance of Allah (SWT)	Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book and keep up prayer.Surely prayer keeps (one) away from indecency and evil; and certainly the remembrance of Allah is the greatest (force). And Allah knows what you do.
C29 V44	heavens and earth are signs	All created the heavens and the earth with truth. Surely there is a sign in this for the believers.
C29 V43	parables needs to be understood with knowledge	And these parables, We set them forth for people, and none understand them but the learned.
C29 V36-40	mention of many prophets and their nation and the punishment of their people	see verses – …And it was not Allah, Who wronged them, but they wronged themselves.
C29 V31-35	when angels came to Ibrahim (AS) and Lut (AS)	see verses
C29 V23-30	mention of Ibrahim (AS) and Lut (AS) – their struggle with their people	see verses
C29 V21-22	Allah (SWT) punishes and has mercy on who he pleases, no escape from it	He punishes whom He pleases and has mercy on whom He pleases, and to Him you will be turned back. And you cannot escape in the earth nor in the heaven, and you have no protector or helper besides Allah.
C29 V18	nations before rejected the message/truth	And if you reject, nations before you did indeed reject (the Truth). And the duty of the Messenger is only to deliver the message clearly.
C29 V14-17	mention of Nuh (AS) and Ibrahim (AS)	see verses
C29 V12-13	No one will bear the burden of other, they’ll bear the burden of misleading others	And those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Follow our path and we will bear your wrongs. And they can never bear any of their wrongs at all. Surely they are liars. And they will certainly bear their own burdens, and other burdens besides their own burdens; and they will certainly be questioned on the day of Resurrection as to what they forged.
C29 V10-11	believers who think persecution if form Allah (SWT)	And among people is he who says: We believe in Allah; but when he is persecuted for the sake of Allah, he thinks the persectuion of people to be as the punishment of Allah. And if help comes from your Lord, they will say: Surely we were with you. Is not Allah the Best Knower of what is in the hearts of mankind? And certainly Allah will know who believe, and He will know the hypocrites.
C29 V8	when not to obey your parents	And We have enjoined on man goodness to his parents. But if they strive to make you set up partners with Me, of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them.
C29 V7	afflictions taken away for those who believe and do good	And those who believe and do good, We shall certainly do away with their afflictions and reward them for the best of what they did.
C29 V6	Allah (SWT) does not need anything	And whoever stives hard, strives for himself. Surely Allah is above need of (His) creatures.
C29 V4-5	evildoers will not escape justice (why there must be a Day of Judgement)	Or do they who work evil think they will escape Us? Evil is it wha they judge!
C28 V88	everything will perish but Allah (SWT)	And do not call with Allah any other god. There is no God but He. Everything will perish but He. His is the judgement, and to Him you will be brought back
C28 V84	good rewarded with better, evil recompensed for it	Whoever brings good, he will have better than it; and whoever brings evil, those who do evil will be recompensed only for what they did
C28 V83	who gets Jannah	That above of the Hereafter, We assign it to those who have no desire to exalt themselves in the earth nor to make mischeif. And the good end is for those who keep their duty.
C28 V76-82	story of Korah (wealthy person among the people of Moses (AS)	see verses
C28 V74	when munafiks will be asked to bring their gods (see C28 V62-64)	And the day when He will call them and say: Where are those whom you asserted to be My partners?
C28 V73	the night and day were made from the mercy of Allah (SWT)	And out of His mercy He has made for you the night and the day, that you may rest in it, and that you may seek of his grace (in the day), and that you may give thanks.
C28 V68	Allah (SWT) creates and chooses who will be successful on the day of judgement	And your Lord creates and chooses whom He pleases. To choose is not theirs. Glory be to Allah and supremely exalted is He above what they setup as partners (with Him)!
C28 V62-64	what Allah (SWT) will say to those who setup partners with him	see verses
C28 V60	things one owns in this life is temporary	And whatever things you have been given are only a provision of this world’s life and its adornment, and whatever is with Allah is better and more lasting. Do you no then understand?

They will serve Me, not setting up any partner with Me. And whoever is ungrateful after this, they are the transgressors.
C24 V54	Obey Allah (SWT) and obey the Messenger (SAW), the duty of the Messenger (SAW)	Say: Obey Allah and obey the Messenger. But if you turn away, he is responsible for the duty imposed on him, and you are responsible for the duty imposed on you. And if you obey him, you go aright. And the duty of the Messenger is only to deliver the message clearly.

And when they are invited to Allah and His Messenger that he may judge between them, then some of them turn aside.. And if the right is on their side, they hasten to him in submission.
C24 V46	revelation is clear	We have indeed revealed clear messages. And Allah guides whom He pleases to the right way.
C24 V45	animals made from water, types of animals	And Allah has created every animal of water. So among them is that which crawls on it sbelly, and among them is that which walks on two feet, and among them is that which walks on four. Allah creates what He pleases. Surely Allah is Powerful over all things.
C24 V44	Allah (SWT) causes nigh and day to come, one after the other	Allah casues the night and the day to succeed one another. Surely there is a lesson in this for those who have sight.
C24 V43	Allah (SWT) commands cloud, rain, hail, and thunder	Do you not see that Allah drives along the clouds, then gathers them together, then piles them up, so that you see the rain coming forth from their midst? And He sends down from the heaven (clouds like) mountains, in which is hail, afflicing with it whom He pleases and turning it away form whom He pleases. The flash of His lightning almost takes away the sight.
C24 V42	everything belongs to Allah (SWT) and to him is the final destination	And Allah’s is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and to Allah is the eventual coming.
C24 V41	Everything prays to Allah (SWT) and glorifies Him (SWT)	Do you not see that Allah is He Whom do glorify all those who are in the heavens and the earth, and the birds and wings outspread? Each one knows its prayer and its glorification. And Allah is Knower of what they do.
C24 V40	parable of the state of those who disbelieve	or like darkness in the deep sea – a wave covers him, above which is another wave, above which is a cloud – (layers of) darkness one above another – when he holds out his hand, he is almost unable to see it. And to whom Allah does not give light, he has no light.
C24 V39	parable of the deeds of disbelievers	And those who disbelieve, their deeds are as a mirage in a desert, which the thirsty man thinks to be water, until, when he comes to it, he finds it to be nothing, and he finds Allah with him, so He pays him his due. And Allah is Swift at reckoning
C24 V37-38	one should not let work divert them from remembering Allah (SWT) and keeping up prayer and giving charity. Allah (SWT) provides without measure	men whom neither merchandise nor selling diverts from the remembrance of Allah and the keeping up of prayer and the giving of the due charity – they fear a day in which the hearts and the eyes will turn about, that Allah may give them the best reward for what they did, and give them more out of His grace. And Allah provides without measure for whom He pleases.
C24 V35-36	Allah (SWT) is the light in the world and He (SWT) is the light in the houses which he exalted and llowed his name to be remembered	see verses

C24 V28	do no enter empty habited houses and do not enter when denied entry	But if you find no one therein, do not enter them, until permission is given to you; and if it is said to you, go back, then go back; this is purer for you. And Allah is knower of what you do.
C24 V27	one cannot enter the house of anyone else without permission and greeting them	O you who believe, do not enter houses othen than your own houses, until you have asked permission and greeted their inhabitants. This is better for you that you may be mindful.
C24 V24-25	tongues, hands, and feet will bear witness against accusers	on the day when their tongues and their hands and their feet bear witness agasint them as to what they did, on that day Allah will pay back to them in full their just reward, and they will know that Allah, He is the Evident Truth.
C24 V23	not to accuse chaste believing women	Surely those who accuse chaste believing women, unaware, are cursed in this world adn the Hereafter, and for them is a grievous punishment,
C24 V22	one should always try forgiving others when possible, Allah (SWT) is the Most Forgiving and we would love to have his forgiveness.	And the possessors of grace and abundance among you should not swear against giving to the near of kin and the poor and those who have fled in Allah’s way; and pardon and overlook. Do you not love that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
C24 V15-16	why not to gossip or slander without having any knowledge of the entire situation	When you recieved it on your tongues and spoke with your mouths what you had no knowledge of, and you considered it trivial, while with Allah it was serious. And why did you not, when you heard it, say: It is not worthy of us to talk of it. Glory be to You! This is a great slander.
C24 V12	Muslims should think well of other Muslims	Why did not the believing men and believing women, when you heard it, think well of their own people, and say: This is an evident falsehood?
C24 V6-10	how to handle a situation if someone accuses their spouse for adultery	see verses
C24 V4-5	clear evidence must be brought to accuse a women (man) of adultery	And those who accuse free women and do not bring four witnesses, flog them (with) eighty strokes and never accept their evidence, and these are the transgressors – except those who afterwards repent and act aright; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
C24 V3	adulteror and adulteress are forbidden (haram) for believers	The adulterer cannt have sexual relation with any but an adulteress or an idolatress, and the adultress, none can have sexual relation with her but an adulterer or an idolater; and it is forbidden to believers.
C24 V2	punishment for adultery	The adulteress and the adulterer, flog each of them (with) a hundred strokes, and do not let pity for them detain you from obedience to Allah, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day, and let a group of believers witness their punishment.
C23 V114	Humans were created for a purpose	Do you think that We have created you in vain, and that you will not be returned to Us?
C23 V112-113	we are on this earth for a very short time	Hey will say: How many years did you reamin in the earth? They will say: We remained a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. He will say: You remained only a little – if only you knew!
C23 V102-103	having heavy amount of deeds (many) will grant success	Then those whose good deeds are heavy, those are the successful. And those whose good deeds are light, those are they who have lost their souls, abiding in hell.
C23 V99-100	No one comes back to this world after death (no reincarnation)	Until when death catches up with on of them, he says: My Lord, send me back, that I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! It is only a word that he speaks. And before them is a barrier, until the day they are raised.
C23 V96	repel evil with the best course of action	Repel evil with what is best. We know better what they describe.
C23 V78	simple things to be thankful of that are overlooked and under-valued	And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts. Little thanks you give!
C23 V76-77	severe punishment comes after milder punishment	And already We seized them with punishment, but they were not submissive to their Lord, nor did they humble themselves. Until, when We open for them a door of severe punishment, then they are in despair at it.
C23 V74	Muslims must believe in the hereafter	And surely those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the way
C23 V66-68	those who talk nonsense about the message of Islam	My messages were ubdeed recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels haughtily, passing nights in talking nonsense about it
C23 V63-65	Those who are ignorant and live easy lives	But their hearts are inn ignorance about it, and they have besides this other deeds which they do. Until, when We seize those who lead easy lives among them with punishment, then they cry for help. Do not cry for help this day. Surely you will not be helped by Us.
C23 V62	no soul is given a duty beyond its ability	And We do not impose on any soul a duty beyond its ability, and with Us is a book which speaks the truth, and they are not wronged.
C23 V23-29	Sign of Nuh (AS)	see verses
C23 V15-16	death and ressurection	Then after that you certainly die. Then on the day of Ressurection you will surely be raised up.
C23 V13-14	how babies develop	then We make him a small life-germ in a firm resting-place, then We make the life-germ a lot, then We make the clot a lump of flesh, then We make (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothe the bones with flesh, then We cause it to grow into another creation. C23 V12	mean made of clay	And certainly We create man of an extract of clay
C22 V78	no hardship in religion, Muslims to bear witness to other people	And strive hard for Allah with due striving. He has chosen you and has not laid upon you any harship in religion – the faith of your father Abraham. He named you Muslims before and in this, that the Messenger may be a bearer of witness to you, and you may be a bearers of witness to the people; So keep up prayer and give the due charity and hold fast to Allah. He is yout Protector; excellent the Protector and excellent the Helper!
C22 V77	success comes through prayer/prostration and doing good	O you who believe, bow down and prostrate yourselves and serve your Lord, and do good that you may succeed.
C22 V73	parable of creating a fly	O people, a parable is set fourth, so listen to it. Surely those whom you call upon besides Allah cannot create a fly, though they should all gather for it. And if the fly carry off anything from them, they cannot take it back from it. Weak are (both) the invoker and the invoked.
C22 V72	those who are hostile to the message of Allah (SWT)	And when Our clear messages are recited to them, you will notice a denial on the faces of those who disbelieve – they almot attack those who recite to them Our messages. Say: Shall I inform you of what is worse than this? The Fire. Allah has promised it to those who disbelieve. And evil is the destination.
C22 V67	every nation had acts of devotion	To every nation We appointed acts of devotion, which they observe, so do not let them dispute with you in the matter, and call (them) to your Lord. Surely you are on a right guidance.
C22 V65	all that is on the earth is suservient to mankind	Do you not see that Allah has made subservient to you all that is in the earth, and the ships gliding in the sea by His comand? And He withholds the heaven from falling on the earth except with His Permission. Surely Allah is Compassionate, Merciful to mankind.
C22 V60	retaliatin for oppression is allow but pardoning is better	That (is so). And whoever retaliates with the like of what he is afflicted with, and he is oppress, Allah will certainly help him. Surely Allah is Pardoning, Forgiving.
C22 V46	hearts are blidn not actual eyes	Have they not travelled in the land so that they should have hearts with which to understand, or ears with which to hear? For surely it is not the eyes tha are blind, but blind are the hearts which are in the breasts.
C22 V42-45	many prophets were reject also	And if they reject you, alreat before them did the people of Noah and Ad and Thamd reject (prophets), and the people of Abraham and the people of Lot, and the dwellers of Midian, And Moses (too) was rejected. But I gave respite to the disbelievers, then I seized them; so how (severe) was My disapproval!
C22 V39	permission to fight in a war or when oppressed	Permission (to fight) is given to those on whom war is made, because they are oppressed. And surely Allah is Able to assist them –
C22 V37-38	the duty of sacrifice is acceptable, Allah (SWT) defends those who believe
C22 V36	camels are halal, who to feed sacrifice to	And the camels, We have made them from among the signs appointed by Allah for you – in them there is much good for you. So mention the name of Allah on them standing in a row. Then when they fall down on their sides, eat of them and feed the contented one and the beggar. This have We made them subservient to you that you may be grateful.

C22 V17	Allah (SWT) will judge people of all religions	Those who believe and those who are Jews and the Sabians, and the Christians and the Magians and those who set up partners (with Allah) – surely Allah will decide between them on the day of Resurrection. Surely Allah is Witness over all things.
C22 V11	those who stand on the verge/edge of Islam	And some people serve Allah, (standing) on the verge, so if good befalls such a one he is satisfied with it, but if a trial afflicts him he turns back headlong. He loses this world and the Hereafter. This is a manifest loss.
C22 V8-10	those who disput about Allah (SWT) without knowledge and lead others astray	And come people dispute about Allah without knowledge, and without guidance, and without an illuminating Book, turning away haughtily to lead (others) astray from the way of Allah. For him is disgrace in this world, and on the day of Resurrection. We shall make him taste the punishment of burning. This is for what your two hands have sent ahead, and Allah is not in the least unjust to servants.

C21 V35	Every soul must taste death	Every soul must taste of death. And We test you by evil and good by way of trial. And to US you are returned.
C21 V34	no mortal lived forever	And We did not grant living forever to any mortal before you. If you die, will they live forever?
C21 V33	the sun and moon orbit	And He it is Who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon. All float in orbits.
C21 V32	heaven is guarded	And We have made heaven a guarded canopy; yet they turn away from its signs.
C21 V31	mountains are in the earth	And We made firm mountains in the earth in case it should quake with them, and We made in it wide ways that they might follow a right direction.
C21 V30	heavens and the earth were split apart, everything living made from water	Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were closed up, so We split them apart. And We made from water everything living. Will they not the believe?
C21 V27-29	No prophet said they were god, anyone who claims they are god is garunteed hell (that is why no where in the bible Jesus [AS] said he was god or said to worship him)	They do not speak before He speaks, and according to His command they act. He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they do not intercede except for him whom He approves, and for fear of Him, they tremble. And whoever of them should say, I am a god besides Him, such a one We recompense with hell. Thus We reward the unjust.
C21 V26	Jesus (AS) and other prophets were honored servants (which was meant to be implied by saying “son of God”)	And they say: The Beneficent has taken to Himself a son. Glory be to Him! No they are honoured servants –
C21 V25	Allah (SWT) in first person says there is no god but him and to serve him	And We sent no messenger before you but We reavealed to him that there is no God but Me, so serve Me.
C21 V23	what Allah (SWT) cannot be questioned, those who believe in other gods must be told to bring their proof	He cannot be questioned as to what He does, and they will be questioned. Or have they taken gods besides Him? Say: Bring your proof. This is the reminder of those with me and the reminder of those before me. But most of them do not know the Truth, so they turn away.
C21 V21-22	why there cannot be more than one god	Or have they taken gods from the earth who give life? If there were in them gods besides Allah, they would both have been in disorder. So glory be to Allah, the Lord of the Throne, being above what they describe
C21 V19-20	angels are not proud nor weary, they glorify him always without getting tired	And to Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And those who are with Him are not too proud to serve Him nor are they weary. They glorify (Him) night and day – they do not tire.
C21 V18	truth off the Quran will vanish falsehood	Indeed, We hurl the Truth agasint falsehood, so it knocks out its brains, and lo! it vanieshes. And woe to you for what you describe.
C21 V16-17	nothing was created for fun/sport	And we did not create the heaven and the eart and all that is between them for sport. If We had wished to take a pastime We would have taken it from before Ourselves; by no means would We do (so).
C21 V7-8	prophets were men who ate and died	And We did not send before you any but men to whom We sent revelation; so ask the followers of the Reminder if you do not know. Nor did We give them bodies not eatnig food, nor did they live forever.
C20 V133-135	Why messengers are sent	And they say: Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord? Has not a clear evidence come to them of what is in the previous Books? And if We had destroyed them with punishment before it, they would have said: Our Lord, why did You not send to us a messenger, so that we might have followed Your messages before we met disgrace and shame? Say: Everyone (of us) is waiting, so wait. Soon you will come to know who is the follow of the even path and who goes aright.
C20 V132	The most basic thing to urge Muslims to do and why	And enjoin prayer on your people, and steadily adhere to it. We do not ask from you a sustenance. We provide for you. And the (good) end is for guarding agaisnt evil.
C20 V131	Do not desire what other class of people have	And do not strain your etes (with desire) at that We have provided different classes of them with – the splendour of his world’s life – that We may try them by means of it. And the sustenance of our Lord is better and more lasting
C20 V130	mention of the daily prayers	So bear patiently what they say, and celebrate the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting, and glorify (Him) during the hours of the night and parts of the day, that you may be well pleased.
C20 V127-129	Why punishment does not come quickly	And thus do We recompense him who is extravagant and does not believe in the messages of his Lord. And certainly the punishment of the Heereafter is severer and more lasting. Is it not clear to them how many of the generations, in whose dwellings they go about, We destroyed before them? Surely there are signs in this for those who have udnerstanding. And if a word had not gone forth from you Lord, and a term been fixed, it would durely have come upon them.
C20 V124-126	Those who turn away from the reminder/message	And whoever turns away from My Reminder, for him is surely a (spiritually) deprived life, adn We shall raise him up blind on the day of Resurrection. He will say: My Lord, why have You raised me up blind, while I used to see? He will say: Thus did Our messages come to you, but you neglected them. And this are you forsaken this day.

The heavens may almost be torn apart at it and the earth split, and mountains crumble down in pieces, that they ascribe a son to the Beneficient! And it is not worthy of the Beneficent that He should take to Himself a son.
C19 V73-74	what those who disbelieve say and their end	And when Our clear messages are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two groups is better in position and beteer assembled? And how many a generation have We destroyed before them, who had better possessions and appearance!
C19 V64	angel’s praise	And we do not descend but by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us and what is between these, and your Lord is never forgetful.

And fulfil the promise; surely the promise will be enquired into. And give full measure when you measure out, and weigh with a true balance. This is fair and better in the end
C17 V33	warning not to kill unjustly and not take revenge	And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden except for a just cause. And whoever is killed unjustly, We have indeed given to his heir authority – but let him not exceed the limit in killing Surely he will be helped
C17 V32	warning to not go near fornication	And do not go near to fornication: surely it is an obscenity. And evil is the way
C17 V31	metaphor to not kill your children (abortion or family planning?)	And do not kill your children for fear of poverty – We provide for them and for you. Surely the killing of them is a great wrong

C16 V68-69	revelation to the bee	And you Lord revealed to the bee: Make hives in the mountains and in the trees and in what they build, then eat of all the fruits and walk in the ways of your Lord submissively. From their bellies comes forth a beverage of many colurs, in which there is healing for man Surely in this there is a sign for a people who reflect.
C16 V66-67	purity of milk and how grapes can be turned into wine	And surely there is a lesson for you in the cattle: We give you to drink of what is in their bellies – from between the faeces and the blood – pure milk, agreeable to the drinkers. And of the fruits of the palms and grapes, you obtain from them intoxicants and goodly provision. There is surely a sign in this for a people who ponder.

C11 V6	all animals are in the care of Allah (SWT)	And there is no animal in the earth but on Allah is the sustenance of it, and He knows its abode and its repository. All is in a clear record.

A little enjoyment in this world, then to Us is their return, then we shall make them tase severe punishment because they disbelieved.
C10 V62-64	good news for friends of Allah (SWT)	Now surely the friends of Allah, they have no fear nor do they grieve – those who believe and keep their duty. For them is good news in this world’s life and in the Hereafter. There is no changing the words of Allah. That is the mighty achievement.
C10 V61	Allah (SWT) know everything, not even something as small as an atom is hidden to him	And you are not (engaged) in any matter nor you recite concernign it any portion of the Quran, and you do no work, but We are witness of you when you are engaged in it. And no the weight of an atom in the earth or in the heaven is hidden from your Lord, nor anything less than that nor greater, but it is (all) in a clear book.
C10 V47	every nation had a messenger	And for every nation there is a messenger. So when their messenger comes, the matter is decided between them with justice, and they are not wronged
C10 V45	those who reject the meeting with Allah (SWT) will perish	And on the day when He will gather them, as though they had not stayed but an hour of the day, they will recognize one another. They perish indeed who reject the meeting with Allah, and they do not follow the right way
C10 V37-38	Quran challenge	And this Quran is not such as could be forged by those besides Allah, but it is a verification of what is before it and a clear explanation of the Book, there is no doubt in it, from the Lord of the words. Or say they, He has forged it? Say: Then bring a chapter like it, and call upon whom you can besides Allah, if you are truthful.
C10 V36	most people of other religion follow conjecture	And most of them follow only conjecture. Surely conjecture will not avail at all against the Truth. Truly Allah is knower of what they do.

C9 V108	desribes people who go to the mosque	Never stand in it. Certainly a mosque founded on observance of duty from the first day is more deserving that you should stand in it. In it are men who love to purify themselves. And Allah loves those who purify themselves

C7 V188	Muhammad (SAW) is only a warner	Say: I do not control benefit not harm for myself except as Allah please. And if I had known the unseen, I should have much of good, and no evil would touch me. I am but a warner and the giver of good news to a people who believe.

C4 V137	you get only one chance to disbelieve	Those who believe then disbelieve, again believe and again disbelieve, then increase in disbelief, Allah will never forgive them nor guide them in the (right) way
C4 V136	believe in past Books	O you who believe, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book which he has revealed to His Messenger and the Book which He revaled before. And whoever disbelieves in Allah and His angels and His Books and His messengers and the Last Day, he indeed strats far away.
C4 V135	maintainer of justice even agasint your self and parents, no lying	O you who believe, be maintainers of justice, bearers of witness for Allah, even if it is against your own selves or (your) parents or near relatives – wheather he is rich or poor, Allah has a better right over them both. So do not follow low desires, that you deviate. And if you distort (the truth) or turn away (from it), surely Allah is ever Aware of what you do.

C4 V7	inheretance for men and women	For men is a share of what the parent and the near relatives leave, and for women as share of what the parents and the near relatives leave, whether it is little or much – an appointed share

C3 V161	not to act dishonestly	And it is not for a prophet to act dishonestly. And whoever acts dishonestly will bring his dishonesty on the day of Resurrection. Then shall every soul be paid back fully what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.
C3 V133-134	who heaven is for	And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden, as wide as the heavens and the earth; it is prepared for those who keep their duty: Those who spend in ease as well as in adversity and those who restrain (their) anger and pardon people

C3 V114	how to identify good people	They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and they enjoin good and forbid evil and hasten in (doing) good deeds. And those are among the righteous.

C3 V45	high regard of Esa (AS)	When the angels said: O Mary, surely Allah gives you good news with a word from Him (of one) whose name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, worthy of regard in this world and the hereafter, and one of those who are drawn near (to Allah).
C3 V42	Allah (SWT) choosing Mary and rasing her above all women	And when the angels said: O Mary, surely Allah has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the world.
C2 V279	usuary will lead to a war with Allah (SWT)	But if you do not, then be apprised of war from Allah and his Messenger, and if you repent, then you shall have your capital. Wrong not, and you shall not be wronged.

C2 V256	no compulsion in religion	There is no compulsion in religion – the right way is indeed clearly distinct from error. So whoever disbelieves in the devil and believes in Allah, he indeed lays hold on the firmest handle which shall never break. And Allah is Hearing, Knowing.
C2 V255	Ayatul Kursi	Allah – there is no god but He, the Ever-living, the Self-subsisting by whom all subsist. Slumber does not overtake Him, nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him but by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them. And they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He pleases. His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, and the perservation of them both does not tire him. And He is the Most High, the Great.
C2 V183	fasting to guard against evil	O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard against evil.
C2 V173	What food is forbidden (haram)	He has fobidden you only what dies of itself, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that on which any other name than that of Allah has been invoked. Then whoever is driven by necessity, not desiring, nor exceeding the limit, no sin is upon him. Surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (C5 V3)
C2 V168	Shaytwan is an open enemy (C2 V208)	O people, eat the lawful and good things from what is in the earth, and do not follow the footsteps of the devil. Surely he is an open enemy to you.
C2 V136	We believe in all prophets	Say: We believe in Allah and in what has been revealed to us, and in what has been revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus, and in what was given to the prophets from their Lord, we make no distinction between any of them and to Him we submit. (C3 V84)
C2 V112	whoever submits entirely gets reward	No, whoever submits himself entirely to Allah and he is the doer of good, he has his reward from his Lord, and there is no fear for such nor shall they grieve.
C2 V111	Jews and Christians need to bring proof	And they say: None shall enter the Garden except he who is a Jew, or the Christians. There are their vain desires. Say: Bring your proof if you are truthful.
C2 V110	reward for doing good in hereafter	And keep up prayer and give the due charity. And whatever good you send on ahead for yourselves, you will find it with Allah. Surely Allah is Seer of what you do.
C2 V85	those who believe in parts of the Book	see long verse
C2 V80	those who say fire will not touch them	And they say: Fire will not touch us but for a few days. Say: Have you received a promise from Allah? Then Allah will not fail to perform his promise. Or do you speak against Allah what you do not know?
C2 V79	woe to those who change the words of Allah (SWT)	Woe, then, to those who write the Book with their hands then say, this is from Allah; so that they may take for it a small price. So woe to them for what their hands write and woe to them for what they earn.
C2 V24	it can never be done	But if you do not and you can never do (it) – then be on your guard against the fire whose fuel is people and stones; it is prepared for the disbelievers.
C2 V23	produce a chapter like that of the Quran	And if you are in doubt as to that which we have revealed to our servant, then produce a chapter like it and call on your helpers besides Allah if you are truthful.
C2 V7	Allah (SWT) sealed the hearts of some disbelievers	Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing; and there is a covering on their eyes, and for them is a grievous punishment.
C2 V6	stubborn disbelievers	Those who disbelieve – to whom it is the same wheather you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe.
